NPS Friday Newsletter 19.01.24

Hello everyone,

Participatory Budgeting
We are excited to share that Netherlee Primary School and Nursery have been given £1000 for a local community project. We would like parents to get involved in helping us decide what to spend our money on. If you would like to get involved in supporting decisions on how the funds will be used or if you have any suggestions, please contact the school on schoolmail@netherlee.e-renfrew.sch.uk by Monday 22nd January 1pm. From Tuesday 23rd, you will have the chance to cast your vote on the final ideas generated via a QR code during drop off/ collection or via a link to a Microsoft Form which will be emailed to you. Thank-you for your support.

Burns Day Menu
Please find attached our planned menu change for next Thursday 25th January. The allergy information is included to enable your child to select a suitable option. If you have completed a lifestyle meal request form a suitable alternative will be provided. However, if you require further allergy or dietary information, please contact your catering team via the school office.

Primary 4 Cooking Potato Scones
Over the next few weeks, Primary 4 children will be cooking in the Hub. As a stage, we have decided we would like to make potato scones linked to our context for learning about Scotland. The following ingredients will be used to make this: self-raising flour, potatoes and butter. Please advise us if there are any changes to the allergy information we hold for your child or if you wish your child not to try a potato scone. Many thanks for your support,
