Our First Full Week!

We have all settled in well to Primary 4/5 after a fantastic summer holiday. As a class we have been learning lots about each other and focusing on working well together as a team. We found that we all fit together perfectly and we are looking forward to working together as a class throughout the year.

Through discussions we have been revising the rights of the child. We recognised it is important to follow rules in class to ensure our rights are being met therefore we created our Class Charter to show this.

We were lucky enough to watch ‘The Rights of the Child’ play by the Hopscotch Theatre today which highlighted some of our rights.

“The show was amazing! I thought it was really funny but it also talked about all of our rights.” – Sophie

“It was fandabbydosey!” – Ben

During Art, we have been exploring the artist Andy Warhol. We have learnt a lot of interesting information about Andy Warhol and what Pop Art is. We also created our own ‘Pop Art’ designs using a range of bright colours.

Please check out our blog each week to find out what we are learning about.
