On Monday we designed our Christmas baubles, on Tuesday we baked them and on Wednesday we painted them!
We made our decorations from salt dough. We enjoyed creating a mixture of 2 cups of plain flour, 1 cup of salt and 1 cup of water, getting our hands all sticky and covered in dough was the best part!
It turns out that we have some expert bakers in 2.8 who could show Mary Berry how to ‘knead the dough’!
Working in the kitchen with approximately 25ish Primary 2’s is a very different experience from working at home in your own kitchen with your family. Everyone worked well together sharing equipment, taking turns and working as a team!
