We had so much fun working together to create our skate parks. When asked what they thought of the activity the children said the following:

Clearly we are a class full of architects and engineers!
This week we have set ourselves a challenge! We are going to use recycled and scrap materials to build a skate park to use in our classroom with our finger skateboards.
After arriving in the Makerspace we looked at examples of cardboard skate parks and made drawings of our plans.
Then we had a look at the materials available for us to use and the different ways we could join them.
Once our plans were finalised we gathered our resources and the fun began! Some progress pictures can be seen below:

This week we have been creating pictures of birds. We started by creating Tucans.
Today we started to create peacocks, and we are delighted with the way they are going.
