We have loved playing with the dinosaurs last week, this week we have our very own museum with fossils, books and facts. 

P2.5 have loved playing with dinosaurs this week in the dino pit. We wrote sentences with adjectives, describing the dionsaurs we have been investigating; as well as learned about graphs, sorting and couting dinosaurs. Next week we will be working in the dinosaur museum!

Well done P2.5! I was blown away by all your work on Friday! We all shared our creations to everyone in the class and told them about what we made, who helped us and how much fun we had. We had pumkins which were carved, pumkin diaries, seeds, pictures, artwork, stories and so much more! I have made a display outside our classroom and can’t wait for all the boys and girls, as well as mums and dads to see it this week! Here is a picture though of the children who carved their pumpkins.

Today, half of us were making amounts of money with coins 💰 The other half ordered the days of the week and months of the year 📆 

The class have loved working at the water station. They have been transporting it into different containers using syringes and droppers.

P2.5 Homework

Week beginning 29^th October

Homework will be very different this week. Reading books will be issued, please read this with your child. Phonics sounds will be recorded on your child’s homework sheet. Please hear your child say the words. No maths or spelling this week. Instead, get creative with your pumpkin! I will give everyone a pumpkin to take home on Friday 26th. I would like you to do something with your pumpkin. You could carve it, draw on it, make soup with it, write a story about it, anything thing at all! The more creative, the better! Please bring in your creation or bring in a picture of it next Friday. We will have a show and tell type of event. Have fun and happy Halloween!
