We made made the most of the snow by writing our numbers in it. We worked on proper formations and identifying different numbers….and we had fun.
We also ordered the Christian story of creation into the 7 days.

We are learning to move at different speeds with Mr Higgins.
We we ran races to run at a fast speed.
 We slalomed through cones fast.
We also worked at different heights. When we ran through the cones, we ran at fast speed up high. When we went under the hurdle, we moved slowly and down low.
We are busy at work this morning making words using our knowledge of digraph.
After some work on capital letters, we were doing some matching of capital letters and small letters.
We are making Christmas cards today. We created our snowman cards and then wrote them for someone we love.
We are giving Royal Mail a run for their money this morning by sorting out all the Christmas cards in our postbox. We had to read the names on the card and sort them into piles. Some names were really tricky.
Then we hand delivered them!
We had lots of fun dancing, singing and playing games with our friends.
Some of us won musical statues.
Next, it was Pass the Parcel and we had to do special tasks if we unwrapped a present.
We enjoyed our snacks and chatting with friends.Â
Then, a special visitor arrived. His friend even tagged along.Â
We tried to help him…  But we just had to show him. Thanks for the pressies Santa!
It really IS a party!!
Some boys decided to make a shop in the pit area today. They are selling play doh, bead patterns and sticks for money. We are developing our ability to recognise coins through using real and pretend coins.
We weren’t horsin’ around with our amazing Nativity performance! We hope you liked coming on a bumpy journey with us as we worked very hard on our singing and dance moves.
Some of us have made a variety of art work out of our loose parts.
Remember, if you collect any loose parts over the festive period, we would love to use them in class! Thanks, P1.2.
