Rights and respecting schools group

Today, we first did the register with Ms Carrick.

Then we joined Mrs Wallace’s class to do some activities. We worked in groups and had discussions about what was  happening in the pictures.  We talked about the assembly that we are doing in May.

At the end, we voted for the logo to represent our group.

Learning needs and wants

Today, we are learning about needs and wants. First, we thought of things we needed to survive with, example: Clean water, clean air, clothes, shelter , food, medical care. and things we want like TV, mobile phones, games, designed trainers, computer games and sweets. We talked about what they are all about. After that, we continued the drawing we did last time.

Doing Rights Respecting Articles

Today, we welcomed the class and did the register to get to know them and  showed them the Unicef’s articles then we gave them a activity to make a poster about being safe in Article 19 using loads of colour and drawings.

And after that  the kids put the posters away and tidied up and sat on the carpet the teacher put on all of us got rights song by Unicef  and the bell went.
