• Made more posters for Fruit Friday – making them colourful, bold and bright. Giving information on what its about.
• Put them around the school so pupils can see the non-wrapper day posters.
• Encouraged pupils to participate  in the non-wrapper Fruit Friday.
• Talked about travel, using bus, car, bike, scooter, and how we can encourage pupils and people outside of school to walk.
• Looked at the survey which we do every year. Shows if  pupils walk, drive, etc. 
• Wear bright clothes so cars can see you (after spring holidays).
• Maybe start to organise walking bus again (after Easter holidays).

ECO

Today we were learning how our food gets to Scotland and how long it takes to get to Scotland. We were learning about what country takes the longest and slowest to get food to Scotland. They were colouring in maps and drawing an item of food and labelling it.

We learnt how paper was made and recycled. We made mind maps on the paper and what things it’s made out of. Then we did posters on recycling. And made some really good posters in our groups.

• Discussed what we can do for the school.
• Made posters about Fruit Friday – to advertise – put them up in the school so everyone can see.
• Worked in partners to make posters (Fruity Friday) for around the school.                                                                                                                           Ideas:
• Go around the school making a presentation to remind about Fruit Friday.
• Ask Mr Tyler if our posters could go onto the assemblies so the school can know about it.
• Ask Mrs Matthews to keep using the class recycling bins.
• Raise money for new bins.
• Put a little  reminder, for the Friday bundle to remind parents  about Fruit Friday.

The primary 3c have been working together to make wonderful posters to show awareness of the environment.

• Preparing for Green Flag Renewal- Find out / Research the requirements.
• Developing Recycling Scheme- Fundraising for recycling and
• litter bins: approval from PC and headteacher 2 x days – 11/13 June.
• Litter Picking- Moved to Grounds Keeping Group.
• Walk To School- discussions about the walking Bus, difficult due to Corona= Miss Hussain will talk to Mrs Mathews about it.
• Fruit Friday- Made and displayed posters – 6a + 3c. Talked about Fruit Friday at assembly, went home in Friday Bundle. Changing days for Fruit Friday.
• Trying to Achieve to fun-raise for Bins as it is Practical and Manageable.
• Jessica and Rayna are going to announce at assembly Liaising with Mr. Tyler to flag the rest of the school.                                                                                                                                                                                                                Minutes                                                                                                                      
•  We discussed about things we can do to help with littering, over usage of cars, changing the day for Fruit Friday, Recycling, talking about Fundraising to afford the litter/ recycling bins. And talked about the walking bus. 
  • Changing the date on the Summer Fair posters to 11th of June on Saturday, and making more posters for around the school-colourful and bright to let people know about it.
