Science Super Skills

This week we have been exploring ‘what makes things move?’

We have been investigating the forces ‘push’ and ‘pull’.

We have been making car ramps and measuring how far the car travel using cubes. The higher the ramp the further the car travelled.

We have been using magnetic force to move objects.

We created a Venn diagram to help us sort objects into ‘push’ and ‘pull’ groups. We decided that some objects are ‘both’, like our interlocking cubes, sticky tape and whiteboard eraser!

We were able to change the shape of our modelling clay, depending on the force we used.

We were even challenged to move a ping pong ball without touching it. We worked out that blowing was a ‘push’ force.
