Hello,
I’m so sorry this doesn’t appear to have published last night. I think there may be some bugs living in my laptop!
Kirkhill Primary (P3c.1 & P3c.2)
Welcome to our Class Blog. Our teachers are Miss Ali (P3c.1) & Miss MacArthur (P3c.2) :)
Hello,
I’m so sorry this doesn’t appear to have published last night. I think there may be some bugs living in my laptop!
Good morning! Today brings the end of the first week of online learning. We are both so impressed with how well you have been engaging with the tasks we have set you all. It has been lovely to see so many of you choosing to challenge yourself and attempt the extra hot tasks!
Please keep working hard over the next few weeks. We are both missing you all so much but we know how lucky we are to be your teachers and see your super work through seesaw.
Good morning, I hope you all had a restful weekend and are staying safe!
Please find attached our daily plan for today.
For maths, you can choose which chilli challenge you feel best suits you. Green indicates mild, one red is spicy and two red symbolises extra hot. If you are finding it too challenging, you can try a different task or if you found it not challenging enough, try to add some extra spice!
All of your tasks can be annotated or completed via Seesaw which you can then send back to us so we can see how you are getting on at home. If easier, complete your work on paper/in your multi use jotter, take a picture and send it over! We are both missing you all and can’t wait to see what you get upto!

Good morning,
Firstly, thank you so much for coming along and participating in our assemblies on Friday. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed performing for you.
Secondly, thank you so much from Miss MacArthur (soon to be Mrs Blyth!) for the extremely kind wedding gift. I really was so touched and we are both so incredibly grateful. The children are more than welcome to come along and throw some confetti on the 28th March (if it goes ahead!!) at about 2pm at Harelaw Farm, Fenwick.
Finally, please find attached our homework sheet for this week. As we are updating our technology use within school, children may be issued with some passwords and usernames for use at home and school. We will try to provide as much information as possible with these on the blog as this happens.
Good afternoon,
Next week is our parent assembly and we would love if the children could practise their lines. They don’t need to memorise them as we will be providing copies on the day but we are looking for lots of enthusiasm and expression!
Parents don’t go looking at the answers – you’re getting quizzed on the day too!!
Please find attached our homework task sheet for this week and some maths worksheets to help with our learning.
4 Times Table Booklet – Spheres
Wednesday 26th February we are going to be carrying out our weddings as part of our learning in RME. If possible, could your child please bring with them a party outfit to wear as part of their ceremony.
Welcome back!
We loved hearing all of your fantastic solo talks from last week’s homework, thank you so much for all of your hard work.
Please find attached your homework for the week ahead.
Some additional worksheets to support the learning we are doing in class are also attached.
Division Spheres  (This doesn’t use step layout but is good revision)
