Lapland Budgeting

P3a.2 have been busy budgeting a trip to Lapland this week! Today we worked in groups to split the £700 budget up to allow us to plan all the different parts of the trip. We found this tricky at first but we were able to adjust how much money we allocated to each part of the trip when we started planning.

I enjoyed  choosing the activities for the trip. It was hard not to overspend because we thought all the activities looked great but we didn’t have enough money for that – Harry C

I enjoyed working out the budget with my group because we worked well together as we all listened – Alfie

I liked choosing the flights and writing down why my partner and I picked the flight we did. We choose EasyJet flight because we thought the flight times were the best. – Ami

Edgar’s Apology

For writing this week we wrote an apology letter for the Town People from Edgar the dragon from the John Lewis advert.

P3a.1 and P3a.2 then came together and assessed work from the other class. We worked very hard to ensure that we gave our partner valuable feedback which explained what had went well and what our partner could work on next time.

Well done P3a!

Planning a Trip to Lapland!

This afternoon P3a.2 held our Open Classroom. We were very lucky to have lots of visitors into our class this afternoon to help us with our task. We started our new Budgeting topic which is to plan a trip to Lapland. We started off by considering what we will need to plan and how much money we think it will cost. Thank you for all your help this afternoon, we hope you enjoyed visiting our class.
