For Literacy homework this week access a magic e game using the following link:  https://www.fun4thebrain.com/English/magice.html

Please return homework jotters this week to allow us to update them.

Science Enquiry

In P3a.2 we are carrying out a scientific enquiry. We are carrying out research to prove or disprove our hypothesis that silk will make the best parachute.

To allow us to carry out this experiment we are looking for some scraps of the following materials

silk, cotton and leather

If you have any scraps of these materials we would be very grateful if you could send them in by Thursday the 10th of October.

Below are some pictures of us completing our science enquiry plan.

Show racism the red card!

Remember to wear something red to school tomorrow for show racism the red card.

3d Structure Challenge

Today we took part in a 3d structure challenge as part of Maths Week.  The challenge was to build a structure with as many 3d shapes as possible.  We worked very hard in our teams to build structures that had vertices, edges and sides.

Well done for all your hard work this morning p3a!

Maths Week Scotland

In P3a this week we have been exploring the world of Maths for Maths Week Scotland. We made maths hats in class. To make these hats we had to use ginormous pieces of paper and fold the hats into different shapes like triangles, rectangles and squares. Once we had made our hats we had to decorate them with our Maths Learning Journey so far.
