Today we tried sorting natural disasters into different types. We worked in groups to try and organise them under headings. We all had great ideas but eventually we agreed on sorting them under these headings – hydrological, geological and meteorological. We recorded this information as a table in our jotters.

It’s been a busy couple of weeks in P6c!

We used the laptops to research some inspirational people such as Malala, Martin Luther King and Helen Keller. We found out about their lives, the difficulties they had to overcome and their amazing achievements. We looked for inspiring quotes from them and identified personal qualities they held. Then, in groups we worked together to make posters to share our findings with the rest of the class. Our inspiring posters about inspirational people are displayed outside our classroom and we hope they will inspire others when they see them.
