This week we have been learning all about Tsunamis. We have found out what casues a tsunami, what happens when there is a tsunami and how it impacts the community it hits.

This week we have been learning about earthquakes. We have been finding out why they happen and how they impact on people and the landscape. As part of our learning we took notes, made a glossary, organised the Mercalli scale by severity and we read a newspaper article about an earthquake in Nepal.

WOW! We are loving the homework that was handed in today – both electronically and in person. There was a variety of completed tasks from videos to models, all showing a range of impressive skills. We look forward to seeing what comes in next week!
