WW2 Homework

Today we presented some of our WW2 homework activities. We listened to fantastic presentations and learned more about interesting war artefacts. We also shared some very artistic models of WW2 air raid shelters and took part in quizzes to test our knowledge. We look forward to hearing from more presentations next week.

What an amazing effort! Well done P7!

Enterprise

P7 have had a very busy week preparing enterprises pitches for stalls to set up at the open classrooms. We worked together in groups across the stage to discuss our ideas and then created design boards which included our product, selling price and expected profits. We then presented our pitches in front of P7 and our teachers. We all did a fantastic job!

Summerlee Museum

Here are some pictures of our time at Summerlee Museum. We had a fantastic day taking part in lots of different activities relating to our WWII topic.

Sign Language Spelling

Today, as part of our spelling activities, we used sign language to spell some of our words for this week.  We enjoyed learning the different actions for each letter of the alphabet and challenged ourselves to sign our words without looking at the board!

Heart Start Workshop

Today primary 7 took part in a very important workshop. We learned how to respond in different emergency situations and how to keep someone safe. We watched videos about the steps to follow in case of emergencies and put this in to practice.

We learned how to put someone into the recovery position

We learned how to give CPR

We were also shown how to use a defibrillator

We now know more about how to react in an emergency. We also taught the teachers some information about the different ways we can contact emergency services using our phones and other devices.

Well done P7 🙂

Homework 7th October
