Homework 28.10.19

I have attached the homework for this week below. Please remember to ask me if you have any questions about the tasks.

28th October 2019

Sign Language Spelling

Today, as part of our spelling activities, we used sign language to spell some of our words for this week.  We enjoyed learning the different actions for each letter of the alphabet and challenged ourselves to sign our words without looking at the board!

Heart Start Workshop

Today primary 7 took part in a very important workshop. We learned how to respond in different emergency situations and how to keep someone safe. We watched videos about the steps to follow in case of emergencies and put this in to practice.

We learned how to put someone into the recovery position

We learned how to give CPR

We were also shown how to use a defibrillator

We now know more about how to react in an emergency. We also taught the teachers some information about the different ways we can contact emergency services using our phones and other devices.

Well done P7 🙂

Homework 7th October

We then took part in a range of activities which involved building 3D shapes using different materials, creating shape nets and making shape fortune tellers.
