P6c had great fun working on safe starts, safe stops and balance work on our bikes. Please practise what you learned today at home, one more week in the playground and then we hit the road!

Easter Problem Solving
P6c had fun figuring out who stole the Easter bunny costume in a group problem solving challenge! Well done to Misha, Iyona, Emma and Ollie for finding the culprit first :-)!
Science Week Fun!
We had so much fun with our STEM challenge on Monday. We made boats that would float out of cardboard and foil. All boats met the threshold of carrying 250g in weight, our winner held 800g!!Â
Victorian School trip at Scotland Street Museum
Well! The boys and girls sure got a fright entering an 1864 Glasgow classroom! The children experienced a proper ‘Victorian’ teacher who certainly stood for no nonsense. They had to change to look the part into pinnies for the girls and waistcoats with collars for the boys. They had a turn of attempting some Victorian mental arithmetic on slates and writing with ink followed by drill exercises with the very amusing janitor. Most of them said when they were leaving, “it’s the best trip we’ve had”. Well done everyone and a thank you to our lovely parent helpers.
Mrs Knox 🙂
