The first term of outdoor learning has come to an end at NPS. P2, P2/3, P3 and P7a have done so well keeping their concentration, coordination and communication up in the cold, building bridges, solving problems and learning all about directions and data.
P2 made a sequence of movements using directional language, then built an obstacle course using it.
P2/3 used a tyre and planks to build a bridge, then tallied up how many times they could cross it in 2 minutes.
P3 are using chalk to show where it is safe to stand on their bridge.
P7a had to try and ‘Cross the Swamp’ by working together as a team to build a safe system of connected bridges.
P6a, P6b and P7b can look forward to starting measurement maths outdoors in January!
