We’ve been very busy  in P1 as we continue our learning journey having fun while we play and learn!

Numeracy and Mathematics

Literacy

We have been learning new sounds and letters.  We have practised forming the letters correctly  and are beginning to put letters together to make words and read them.  We enjoy using different  materials and resources when exploring sounds and letters. Other Learning

We have been learning about what seeds need to grow.  We decorated pots with faces and grew cress seeds inside which looked like hair growing! We discussed how some plants are edible. We painted pictures of plants and also drew pictures, labelling the different parts.  We also went outdoors looking for signs of Autumn.
