On Monday we learned about probability and chance. We looked at the language we use when discussing the chance of snow compared to the probability of flipping heads or tails on a coin.

On Thursday we went to the Baptist Church with the whole of P7 and one class from Mearns. Whilst we were there we learnt a lot about why we celebrate Easter and we did lots of fun activities. We did a quiz, watched a bit of drama, decorated scratch-off eggs, coloured in a cross and last but definitely not least had doughnuts and cookies and juice! It was so much fun.

For PE this week, we did the bleep test. The aim is to get to the other side of the room before it beeps! There are different levels, every new level gets faster! It was very fun but very exhausting. After, we got a bit of free choice so we chose to play dodgeball.

In the muga, we split into 4 teams and played touch rugby. For a warm up we played rugby tig. It’s basically tig except you have to touch them with a rugby ball.

When we had Mrs Nassar on Wednesday for Heartstone, we read about a scene on a train. Once we had finished reading it, some people got to do some roleplay and acted it out. It was very funny!!

For drama this week, we had to make a script about being on a phone call with someone. Some groups did theirs about a scam, some about calling 999 and even some about a prank call! Then once the scripts were written, we showed them to the class. It was hilarious to see what everybody came up with.

On Thursday for writing we did Editing and Redrafting, we had to choose a piece of writing and we then edited and redrafted it.
