What a wonderful week in P3.
We enjoyed the ‘No Scotland No Party’ concert in school this week and had a great time singing along to the songs.
We worked so hard on our World Cup solo talks and presented them beautifully . We learned so much from each other and asked lots of questions.
We have also created a timeline of Scotland’s World Cup history.

This week we have been diving into our new topic – The FIFA World Cup.
So far we have been developing our mapping skills and knowledge of the host countries. We also worked in pairs to find out more about a chosen country taking part in the tournament.
This week we learned about some of the stadiums that will be used in the tournament and some of their unique features. We then went on to design our own and then used Kapla to create them.

Hello and welcome to our blog.
This week we have been learning about the importance of friendship and what it means to be a good friend to others.
We worked together in groups to think about this and what we felt was important.

Have a lovely weekend

Hello and welcome to our blog.
This week we completed our Natural Disasters IDL. We have really enjoyed this topic and learning lots of facts and different information.
To end the topic we made a Natural Disasters wheel. We then asked our friend to spin the wheel and then we had to share facts about the Natural Disaster it landed on!
We enjoyed creating these and drawing each disaster then testing our knowledge of each.
Have a lovely weekend.

Hello and welcome to our blog.
This week we began our striking and fielding lessons in PE. We worked very hard to follow the rules and work in a team.
We also took part in some experiments for our Natural Disasters topic. We made a tornado in a bottle and volcanoes. Unfortunately we were so excited about our volcanoes we forgot to take some photos. We loved our experiments!

Hello and welcome to our blog.
We have been very busy this week and have started our rehearsals for our show. We are looking forward to sharing this with you all.
Over the past few weeks, we have created lots of wonderful landscape drawings based on sunflowers. We have been learning all about these wonderful flowers and parts of a flower. We have also been learning about looking after plants and flowers. Therefore, we have planted our own sunflowers to look after in class and to observe their growth.
Wish us luck that they grow! Children will bring them home before the Spring holidays.

Hello and welcome to our blog.
This week we had the most amazing trip to HAMPDEN.
We learned about the history of Scottish football by taking part in a quiz and visiting the museum. We took part in a football training session, learning various skills and we had a tour of the stadium.
We were a very happy and excited bunch!
