Week beginning 27/4/26

Hello and welcome to our blog.

This week we completed our Natural Disasters IDL. We have really enjoyed this topic and learning lots of facts and different information.

To end the topic we made a Natural Disasters wheel. We then asked our friend to spin the wheel and then we had to share facts about the Natural Disaster it landed on!

We enjoyed creating these and drawing each disaster then testing our knowledge of each.

Have a lovely weekend.

Hello and welcome to our blog.

This week we began our striking and fielding lessons in PE. We worked very hard to follow the rules and work in a team.

We also took part in some experiments for our Natural Disasters topic.  We made a tornado in a bottle and volcanoes.  Unfortunately we were so excited about our volcanoes we forgot to take some photos. We loved our experiments!

Hello and welcome to our blog.

We have been very busy this week and have started our rehearsals for our show. We are looking forward to sharing this with you all.

Over the past few weeks, we have  created lots of wonderful landscape drawings based on sunflowers. We have been learning all about these wonderful flowers and parts of a flower. We have also been learning about looking after plants and flowers. Therefore, we have planted our own sunflowers to look after in class and to observe their growth.

Wish us luck that they grow! Children will bring them home before the Spring holidays.

Hello and welcome to our blog.

This week we had the most amazing trip to HAMPDEN.

We learned about the history of Scottish football by taking part in a quiz and visiting the museum. We took part in a football training session, learning various skills and we had a tour of the stadium.

We were a very happy and excited bunch!

Week beginning 23.2.26

Hello everyone and welcome to our blog.

This week we have been working hard to write non-chronological reports. This week we worked hard to learn all about healthy eating and we were able to create a report based on this.

We also wanted to compare humans and animals. We found out about the strongest animal, the fastest animal and the most intelligent animal. We then compared them to the human race.
We used iPads to research these animals and fed back our findings to the rest of the class. We found out amazing facts!

Have a great weekend.

Hello and welcome to our blog.

This week we have taken time to explore the true meaning of Christmas and why Christians celebrate it.  We have learned  why the birth of Jesus is so important for Christians. We have looked at different ways Christmas is celebrated all around the world and found out some interesting traditions that take place in other countries. Ask us about this!

Christmas Party

We all looked wonderful at our party this week  and  the  singing and dancing was absolutely wonderful.

Take a look.

Have a wonderful Christmas and thank you for your continued support this session. It has been an absolute pleasure  teaching P3b and I look forward to seeing all the children in 2026.
