Week beginning 1/9/25

Good afternoon and welcome to our blog.

We have been working very hard to create our Class Charter based on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.  We have chosen several rights that we feel  are  important for our education  and have created beautiful artwork for the classroom.

We  used  paper to draw around our hands. Then made coloured them in  using a variety of patterns and colours.  They are now part of a beautiful flower display.  Everyone in the class has their hand on the display.

“I really enjoyed creating my handprint design.” (Sam)

” I liked everyone’s design .” (Isla M)

” I liked the colours I used.  They were the colours of the rainbow.” (Blair)

“It was fun to do this task.” (Darren)

Have a lovely weekend

Week beginning 18.8.25

Good afternoon and welcome our class blog.

The children have been settling in well to our new classroom and routines.

They have been working hard this week to complete various Literacy and Maths tasks successfully.

We have been learning about the Rights of the Child in order to create our Class Charter and have made our class rules.

We are looking forward to sharing our learning with you in our class blogs.

Have a lovely weekend
