In P.E we were doing gymnastics with Mr. McMillan.  We worked on our forward roll, jumping and landing and balance.

In writing we created poems about school.  We described our senses, used WOW words and alliteration. 

In social studies we have been learning about the weather.  This week we learnt about the different types of clouds and their names; cirrus, cumulus, stratus and nimbus.  We used cotton wool to recreate these clouds.

In maths the hexagons have been learning about money and identifying coins and notes, the circles have been continuing number patterns, the squares have been learning to calculate the correct change with money and the triangles have been working on addition and subtraction to 20.

In art we have been learning about pointillism, where we used small dots to create a larger image.
