We have all received our Sumdog logins and practised how to log on. Our log in cards are in our schoolbags. Go to www.sumdog.com and you can compete in the Eastwood Cluster Competition!

 

We made some clouds and learned the names for different types. Cumulous clouds are fluffy and puffy. Cirrus clouds look like toothbrushes or feathers in the sky. Cumulounimbus have storms inside. Stratus clouds are thick like a blanket.

 

In PE we played Steal Ball and Scatter Ball. We use our running, catching, throwing, kicking  and stealing skills. This week we learned that f you hit the balls into space, the fielding team has to work harder….

 

We have using our addition skills this week in three-digit calcuations, money and change and number families.

 

We have been working on cause and effect… Here are some examples from our day.

I was outside so I got muddy (K.F)

There wasn’t enough tinfoil for the spy base so we had to sit down (O.B)

I was sitting nicely at assembly so I got a house token (S.D)

I was feeling down so my friend helped me. (D.B)

We made a dam so I got muddy (R.C)

I made a lolly so I took it outside (E.T)

We ran out of paper in the art area so I couldn’t draw a picture (M.K)

I was playing with the water tap so I got wet (A.D)

The water tap was fully on so it flooded the dam. (Z.M)
