This has been our first week in Primary 3 with Mrs. Grieve and Mr. McMillan.

In P.E we went in to the MUGA and met our new P.E teacher Mrs. Kincaid. We played different games; we made a big circle and had to try and get the ball through people’s legs, we had to jump up in a circle one at a time and call out our name.

We have been reading Fantastic Mr. Fox with Mrs. Grieve. We have identified words to describe the farmers. We have said which farmer we would like to work for if we had to pick one, we were learning about alliteration and had to make up weird and wonderful flavours for our ice creams.

We voted for our class charter which is going to be a Mario themed charter and selected which rights we are going to display in our class.

We did drama with Mrs. Grieve. We played games and did an activity where you had to change your voice and another person had to try and guess who was speaking.

We voted for which pupils in our class are going to be on each committee. They are;

• Pupil Council – Harley Gilmore
• Eco-Committee – David Whitton
• Sports Committee – Jamie MacKenzie
• Rights Respecting Schools – Harry Findlay

 

We have also chosen our group names for our tables in the class. They are Minecraft characters; Steve, Axel and Alex.

We have had different maths problem solving challenges this week.
