Yesterday some boys and girls were outside digging up the soil and put some water into the canal. (A.M.)

It started off that we wanted to make a hole but then we connected the holes that other people made to make a giant river. (C.M.)

It took us only one morning to dig the whole river out and it caused us a few problems. People were pouring too much water into the hole and it flooded and all the mud sank and we had to dig it up again. (K.S.)

We made an overflow wall so that the water couldn’t come out. (A.F.)

Then Ace made the tubes go diagonally by tilting them and using a stand so nobody has to hold the tubes for so long. (A.V.)

We measured with metre sticks to see how long the river was. It was 7m long! (F.J.)

A couple of us were playing a different game. We were tyre racing and the pink one won. (I.N.)

We used the timers to see which tyre was the fastest and the pink one was the fastest. The pink tyre took 2 seconds ansd the purple tyre took 7 seconds! (R.F.)

In Problem Solving today we had a partner and worked on a game on the laptop. We had to sort out the numbers to make the number at the bottom. I got up to level 4 but it was very hard! (H.G.)

In each level the circles where you put the numbers, were placed in different shapes. (D.W.)

We were using our counting skills to work out the problems. (A.B.)
