EWHCF Class of 2024

A busy term

Primary 1 have been so busy lately we have hardly had time to stop. We took some time to reflect on our learning with a spot of yoga to relax us.

It gave us to time to think about all of the fabulous learning that has been taking place in our classroom. We have been using our sounds to stretch out tricky words to help us when we write. We are making great progress and some of our work has been put on the wall as we are very proud of it.

Mrs Denholm gives us daily targets which we try to complete before lunch time every day. We are very good at ensuring we try our best to achieve these targets and take our own photographs of what we are proud of. Here are some magic moments we have captured recently.

We enjoyed learning about Robert Burns and found some of the Scottish words quite funny. We currently have a lot of lads and lassies running around the classroom at the moment! We found out what happens at a Burns supper and enjoyed listening to the bagpipes and doing a little bit of Scottish dancing. As we had worked very hard all week our teachers brought some Scottish treats in for us to enjoy.
