Royal Air Force

Please find attached details of 4 fantastic virtual “Access all Areas” events provided by the Royal Air Force throughout October and November. These events can be accessed by any student/teacher/guardian that has an interest in a potential career in the Royal Air Force. The platform is limitless, so they are open to everyone across the UK to explore the virtual world and content within. Across each event, we will be hosting 8 x live MS Teams chats, each with a limit of 250 attendees, dedicated to different job roles. This means that you can click onto a live chat to find out more about ‘Engineering’, while in another part of the event you could be invited to join a separate live chat about ‘Medical & Nursing’.

Book your free tickets via the link on each attached pdf.

Each event provides the opportunity to explore the roles of the RAF within an immersive, never-before seen virtual hangar with an opportunity to discover information on key roles, as well as chat live with a specialist RAF recruiter. All from the comfort of your own home.

Woodfarm High School UCAS Information

If you are considering applying for university next year, under normal circumstances you would have been invited to our UCAS evening where you would have received information regarding the school’s process of applying for university and SAAS funding. Under Covid-19 you will still be getting the exact same info but this will be done through online video presentations. You should watch both of the videos below and make notes on the relevant information, dates or any questions.

The first video is our normal UCAS Information Evening presentation with added narration, and the second is from SAAS regarding student funding in Scotland.

Further information and support will be provided to pupils during PSHE and through staff who have volunteered to be UCAS mentors.
