Golf Competition – Pupil Achievement

The annual East Renfrewshire Inter Schools Secondary Golf Competition was held at Mearns Castle Golf Academy on Thursday 3rd October.  Up against stiff competition, Luke, Jamie and Christopher held their nerve to bring the trophy back to Williamwood for the first time since the competition started in 2013.  Well done boys.  The Williamwood High School golf section is growing in strength and numbers allowing the school to enter two teams in the competition for the first ever time.    We are therefore planning additional school competitions in Spring 2020.

October Break

A reminder that school is closed from Monday 14th October until Monday 21st October.  Pupils return to school on Tuesday 22nd October as Monday 21st October is an in-service day for staff. We wish everyone an enjoyable October break.

Williamwood High School STEAM Fair 2019

All pupils in S1/S2 and in P6/P7 at our associated primary schools have now received a letter inviting them to the Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Design and Maths (STEAM) fair.  This will be held on Thursday 24th October 6pm – 8:30pm.  This event has been highly successful over the last few years engaging both pupils and parents in a variety of activities.  We are delighted to welcome back the Glasgow Science Centre with their entertaining and informative show, Future Fuels Show, as well as welcoming new partners who will be attending for the first time.  We are looking forward to an exciting and informative evening for both pupils and parents.
