YPI Drop-in Sessions
The YPI project is well underway with our S2 pupils. The Youth and Philanthropy Initiative is an active citizenship programme that raises awareness amongst young people about philanthropy and the local community. Pupils work in teams and each team is responsible for directing a £3000 YPI Grant to a local charity through a unique programme of team work, research and competition. YPI Scotland is all about creativity and passion, leaving the four walls of the classroom behind, and supporting the issues young people care most about.
As part of the initiative, pupils are required to create an innovative presentation and are encouraged to think more imaginatively than resorting to use PowerPoint. Drop-in sessions are being held on Monday and Thursday lunch time in Technical Room 1. All S2 pupils are welcome to attend.
