U16 Football Team Reach Scottish Shield Final!
The U16 football team have reached the Scottish Shield Final after a 3-1 victory over St Columba’s. This is the first time a St Ninian’s team has reached a national final since 2006. On a gloriously sunny night at Renfrew Juniors the team put in a heroic performance to earn their place in the final which will take place shortly after Easter.
Goals were scored by Husnain Mansoor, Kastriot Maloku and James O’Hara. Central midfielder James Lamont was Man-of-the-Match with an outstanding individual performance though every member of the squad deserves great credit.
Well done to Mr McKean and all the boys on this magnificent achievement. Also, the support from fellow pupils, parents and staff was fantastic and greatly appreciated.
