Teenage Booster Immunisations Monday 6thMarch
On Monday 6th March the DTP (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio) and MenACWY (MeningitisACWY) immunisation will be administered by NHS staff in school to S3 girls and boys.
There will also be a catch up DTP/MenACWY immunisation for certain S4 – S6 pupils who missed their immunisation in previous years.
S3 pupils will be issued a parent NHS information and consent pack this week which explains the immunisation programme. We would ask that you complete your child’s consent form and place in the brown envelope. Your child should hand this into the school office by Wednesday 15th February.
Catch up S4- S6 pupils have been issued previously a NHS parent information and consent pack. The NHS Immunisation team will refer to previous consent forms.
