St Ninian’s Pupil Powers to British Success
Congratulations to Matthew McShane (5a2) who has won the Bronze medal at the British Classic Powerlifting Championships. In the 63kg category Matthew recorded lifts of 80kg bench-press, 135kg squat and a 155kg deadlift. This gave him a total score of 370kg which broke the Scottish record. He has also qualified for the European and World Championships next year.
