St Ninian’s Public Speaking and Debate Society
On Sunday afternoon three members of the St Ninian’s Public Speaking and Debate Society competed in the semi-final of the Rotary Club’s ‘Youth Speaks’ competition at Pollokshaws Burgh Hall. Kate McLaughlin, Amina Hussain and Eve Turnbull delivered a convincing and confident speech on the issue of homelessness. Although the girls weren’t successful in securing a place in the final, they thoroughly enjoyed the experience and received incredibly helpful feedback from the judges which will help them to develop their public speaking skills further. Very well done girls!
