Service of Light (Thursday 20 November)
‘We have loved them in life, let us not forget them in death.’ St Ambrose.
The month of November is highlighted in the Catholic Tradition as a time to pray for the dead and in particular to remember those close to us. There will be a short Service of Lightheld at 12.25pm in our Oratory on Thursday 20 November 2014.
During this Service, members of our community, staff and pupils, will be given the opportunity to light a candle in memory of close relatives or friends who have died within the past twelve months or so. Of course, this Service is open to all regardless of faith.
