Scottish Parliament Trip
S4 Modern Studies pupils participated in a trip to the Scottish Parliament on Wednesday 30 September. They enjoyed a tour of the Parliament followed by a Q&A session with MSPs Ken Macintosh and Jackson Carlow and were fortunate enough to sit in on a session where committee convenors questioned the First Minister about current issues. First Minister Nicola Sturgeon and the Presiding Officer Tricia Marwick also took time to speak to pupils about the role they play in the Scottish Parliament.
