Pupil Achievement- Salter’s Festival
Congratulations to Our S1 team who finished 3rd place in the Salter’s festival competition. Abu Javed 1a1, Jeremiah Lawson 1a1, Anna Ewins 1a1 and Katie Rankin 1a1.
This festival is organised by Glasgow University in association with The Salter’s Institute and the Royal Society of Chemistry, institutions that promote education in chemistry. This event includes 2 chemistry challenges the pupils take part in. A murder mystery forensics challenge and a Kidnapping forensics challenge. They also see a demonstration on Chemical Magic from one of the Lecturers in chemistry
