Public Speaking and Debate Society Success
Three members of the Public Speaking and Debate Society (Kate McLaughlin, Amina Hussain and Eve Turnbull) participated in the 9th Rotary Club ‘Youth Speaks’ public speaking competition at St Ninian’s last night. After last year’s success at the same event, the new young debaters did the school proud by displaying fantastic team work and delivering a thought-provoking speech on homelessness. Their hard work and hours of practice really paid off, with the girls winning their category and securing a place in the next round of the competition. We wish them the very best of luck!
