NXP “Smarter World Tour”
On Friday, 11 March S4 pupils visited NXP in East Kilbride for the ‘Internet of Things’ experience aboard the “Smarter World Tour” truck.
The event also launched the BBC micro:bit initiative. Pupils had the opportunity to programme Micro:bits which are handheld, fully programmable computers with motion detection, a built-in compass and Bluetooth technology. 300 Micro:bit computers are coming soon to St Ninian’s! Watch this space….
