Monday Morning Prayer
As you know, we do not have Monday Mass during Ordinary Time but ‘Monday Morning Prayer’ is a pupil led initiative and will take place every Monday, except when we have Mass.
Head Girl Katie Dunn describes ‘Monday Morning Prayer’ :
‘Monday Morning Prayer’ gives pupils and staff the opportunity to join together in the Oratory to pray for the school community and each other’s intentions. During this time a Sixth Year will lead a ten minute session starting at 8.30am whilst inviting other members to participate in hymns, scripture and bidding prayers. Each week a focus will be given to the members for their prayer life and hopefully this quiet time will become something for pupils and staff to look forward to, where they can celebrate their faith.’
