Mandarin-themed assembly
On Monday 17th Feb, all S1 pupils had a Mandarin-themed assembly. Pupils got the opportunity to watch several Chinese performances including an umbrella dance performed by two Hanban teachers and a group of S1 pupils, an Er Hu performance by Hanban teacher Mrs Qiu. Pupils also heard about S4 Alicja Wladyslawska’s and S6 Luke Nelson’s experiences about learning Mandarin, in the light of their upcoming subject choices for S2.
