Life Group Visit the Sisters of the Gospel of Life
On Monday 16 December, the St Ninian’s Life Group visited the Sisters of the Gospel of Life – a crisis pregnancy centre in Crosshill, set up by Cardinal Winning in 1997. The group were met by Sister Roseann who talked through the origins of the centre and the work that they do. From helping women financially, to supporting them and their wider families emotionally, the Sisters of the Gospel of Life showcased to us the Gospel values and the importance of kindness and generosity. They gave our group great ideas about how to help support their work, but also ideas about how to look out for those less fortunate and to always be considerate and helpful to those in our community. Their work was extremely inspiring and as we walked through the centre we were able to see how they help women who find themselves in a crisis pregnancy and the sort of support available to them. We enjoyed looking at all the toys and the clothes warehouse and we will definitely be back to help support this work in the future!
