iDEA Award
S1/S2 Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award
As pupils engage with distance learning we are keen to continue offering pupils a broad range of learning activities. We are encouraging all S1 and S2 pupils to participate in the Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award (iDEA).
This is a free to access resource to help young people develop invaluable IT skills and also learn about online safety and mental wellbeing whilst using technology.
Pupils should complete the award at their own pace once classwork is complete or as a break from classwork. Pupils simply follow the learning materials presented, selecting a range of modules they are interested in and completing the quizzes and activities to achieve the award.
Pupils should register at idea.org.uk setting up a nickname and registering an email address, this could be their own Glow email or a parent/guardian’s.
IMPORTANT:
Once registered pupils should click on their name in the top right hand corner of the screen and select ‘Edit Profile’. Toward the bottom of this page there is an option to enter an ‘Organiser Code’, please enter SNHSDIGI This links the account with St Ninian’s High School.
When the award has been achieved certificates to recognise this valuable achievement will be received by the school and will be issued once pupils return to school.
An information sheet is attached to help explain the purpose of the award and a wealth of information is also available at idea.org.uk
