Holocaust Memorial Day
In recognition of the enduring and universal significance of the Holocaust, East Renfrewshire Council will host a Holocaust Memorial event in Carlibar Primary School, Carlibar Road, Barrhead on Monday 28 January 2013 at 7.00 p.m.
The theme for National Holocaust Remembrance in 2013 is “Communities Together: Build a Bridge” and the Council will reflect that theme with Kemal Pervanic who survived the genocide in Bosnia when imprisoned at the notorious Omarska concentration camp in 1992 when he was a young man of 24.
