Holocaust Information Evening
Holocaust Exhibition (11th – 29th November 2019) and Holocaust Information Evening (Wednesday 20th November, 6 – 8.30pm)
From Monday 11th – Friday 29th November 2019, we will be hosting a Holocaust Exhibition in the school developed by the Gathering the Voices project. The exhibition contains a wealth of fascinating images and visual material that helps to brings to life the experiences of the people who came to Scotland to escape the Holocaust. It is an excellent resource to support education about the Holocaust, The Second World War and the human experience of refugees.
Over the next few weeks pupils have the opportunity to visit this exhibition which will be guided by St Ninian’s HS pupils who will have received training for the exhibition. Pupils from S1-6 will also receive talks from two direct descendants of Holocaust survivors.
We would also like to take this opportunity to invite parents and carers to visit this exhibition with their son or daughter on Wednesday 20th November 2019, 6 – 8.30pm. During the evening you will have the opportunity to visit the exhibition and attend presentations from two guest speakers.
