Eco-Schools Scotland Green Flag Award Achieved
Our environmental action is recognised by Keep Scotland Beautiful
St Ninian’s High School has been awarded a Green Flag Award by environmental charity Keep Scotland Beautiful in recognition of our Eco-Schools journey. To earn the Green Flag Award we have been following the seven elements of the programme for the past two years to ensure that the whole school and wider community has been involved.
Derek Robertson, Chief Executive of Keep Scotland Beautiful, said: “I would like to congratulate all the pupils and staff at St Ninin’s High Schhol for achieving the Green Flag Award.
“Eco-Schools supports schools in their work with Learning for Sustainability and Curriculum for Excellence and helps ensure our children and young people are equipped with skills that they need for the future. I hope that everyone had fun while learning about our environment and why it is important for our health, our business and our wildlife.”
