Cross-Country Superstars!
On Saturday 17 March the St Ninian’s S1 and S2 Girls Cross Country team won team gold and individual Silver at the Scottish Schools’ Cross Country Championships at Hopetoun House, Edinburgh. The team was made up of Hannah Ryding (1a2), Kate Paul (1a7), Nuala O’Donnell (1a10), Bethany Drummond (2a8) and Rachel Morran (1a10). Hannah Ryding (1a2) won Silver after coming second overall. This is a truly fantastic achievement and congratulations to all.
This is the third race that the girls have won this season. They were also Gold winners in the Scottish Schools Road Race and the East Renfrewshire Cross-Country Championships.
The team were presented with a silver Quaich today by Mr Docherty for their outstanding achievements.
