New Scottish National Qualifications
New National Qualifications are being introduced across Scotland. The new Nationals, Highers and Advanced Highers are replacing the existing qualifications. The New Qualifications will support Curriculum for Excellence (CfE) and the broad education offered to pupils in the school. As well as academic qualifications, the New Qualifications are designed to equip young people the skills necessary to be successful in the workplace.
The SQA have published two documents; one which offers advice to employers regarding the New Qualifications and one which link the New Qualifications to their Scottish Qualifications Framework (SCQF) Equivalent.
