Service of Remembrance – Thursday 21 November
‘We have loved them in life, let us not forget them in death.’ St Ambrose.
The month of November is highlighted in the Catholic Tradition as a time to pray for the dead and in particular to remember those close to us. There will be a short Service of Remembrance held at 12.25pm in our Oratory on Thursday 21 November 2013.
During this Service, members of our community, staff and pupils, will be given the opportunity to light a candle in memory of close relatives or friends who have died within the past twelve months or so. Of course, this Service is open to all regardless of faith.
Pupils will be informed and given the opportunity to participate through RE.
To ensure that we do not miss anyone from this Service, we would ask that you give Mrs Graham the name of your deceased relative or friend.
